DiSC

DiSC is an acronym for the four dimensions of personality and behavior. The four "primary emotions" and their associated behavioral responses were originally identified by the pioneering psychologist William Marston in 1928. His research still stands today and is used in Inscape Publishing's DiSC model to identify the four primary styles of personality and behavior, known as Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness. DiSC Profiles are most effective when used in conjuction with other Profiles and learning instruments to determine an individual's skills, strengths, and to identify areas of personal and organizational growth as it relates to the workplace environment.

About the Owners

Brooke Schulte
Brooke  received her college undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa, in Iowa City, one of the oldest and most respected Theater programs in the country.   Additionally, she received a Minor in Business from the UI, Henry B. Tippie College of Business & Administration.  Currently she is attending graduate school at the University of Santa Monica, in California, earning a M.A. in Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis in Spiritual Psychology.

Brooke's interest and background in the determinants of human behavior, paired with her desire to make a meaningful contribution to society  using her unique skills and experiences, have instigated her involvement in personal and organizational development in the corporate economy. Her extensive study and experience in the fields of personal development, including professional training involving human exploration in theater, character study, interpersonal communication and the psychology of belief, have allowed her to formulate a unique and fresh insight into the benefits of the DiSC Profile Model as it is used for understanding personality and human behavior on both a personal and organizational level.  Her unique perspective as part of the millennial generation, further contributes a fresh perspective in the Yoka business model.

Sandi Serbousek
Sandi has a BS in Psychology and extensive training in counseling and communication skills, team building, stress management, self esteem and development of balanced lifestyles.  She has been an Inscape Publishing distributor  since 1992 when she began Infiniti Enterprise, a training and consulting firm based in Iowa.  Since that time, she has successfully started three additional companies.  An entrepreneur at heart, she is  happiest when in the process of creating - both in her professional and personal life.
